Best Practices for Maximizing Your Coaching Experience

  1. Before Each Session
    • Complete all pre-session assessments and assignments
    • Reflect on your progress since the previous session
    • Prepare specific questions or challenges you want to address
    • Find a quiet, private space free from distractions for our calls
  2. During Sessions
    • Be fully present (turn off notifications, close other applications)
    • Approach discussions with honesty and openness
    • Take notes on key insights and action items
    • Ask questions when something isn't clear
  3. Between Sessions
    • Dedicate 3-5 hours weekly to implementation and reflection
    • Apply new concepts immediately in your work environment
    • Document observations, challenges, and successes
    • Review session notes and your Leadership Growth Plan regularly
  4. Communication Guidelines
    • Sessions start and end on time (please join 2-3 minutes early)
    • If you need to reschedule, provide at least 24 hours notice
    • Questions between sessions can be emailed (response within 48 hours)
    • Emergency coaching support available via text with "URGENT" prefix
  5. Measuring Success
    • We'll establish clear metrics for your leadership development
    • Regular check-ins will assess progress against your goals
    • The Journey Marker assessment will provide objective measurement
    • Your personal satisfaction and growth are our ultimate success metrics
